KakoBuy Warehouse QC Guide: Photo Checks, Inspection Limits & Problem Resolution

Warehouse photos help you spot visible differences before a parcel leaves China. They are a useful inspection checkpoint, but they cannot establish authenticity, long-term quality or how a product will perform.

KEY TAKEAWAYS
  1. Compare photos of your own order with the exact variant you purchased.
  2. Separate visible checks from authenticity, functionality and fit.
  3. Resolve concerns while the order is still in the warehouse.

Catalog Reference Photos & Your Own Order Photos

Public product photographs can help you compare visible details, but they do not show what arrived for your own order. Check which item and selected option each photograph represents.

After buying, review the photos attached to your own KakoBuy order. Match the colour, size label, model and quantity. A clear photo from a different order cannot confirm what arrived for you.

Product Model, Variant & Quantity Checks

Keep the order options and seller listing beside your own warehouse photos. Check the item type, selected colour, model, size label and quantity first. A product may share one URL across several versions, so compare it with the option purchased rather than with the first image in the seller gallery.

Then make a second pass for condition and a third for the features that matter to you. This stops a tiny stitch detail from distracting you from a wrong variant or a missing second shoe. Record a missing view separately from a missing component: something outside the frame has not necessarily been omitted from the order.

  • Identity: exact item, variant, label and quantity.
  • Overall condition: obvious damage or missing visible parts.
  • Important features: closures, components and design details.
  • Uncertainty: the precise view or information still needed.

Visual Inspection: Sequence & Priorities

Start with the whole item and then look at the details that matter to the purchase. For clothing, compare the front, back, visible seams and labels. For shoes, compare the pair and the selected size. For bags or accessories, check visible components and included pieces where the photos show them.

These are our suggested shopping checks. KakoBuy’s official inspection rules describe visual checks such as style, quantity, colour, size, model and external appearance. If an important view is missing or ambiguous, ask support what can be checked before arranging shipment.

Clothing Checks: Shape, Seams & Details

Compare front and back views where supplied, then examine the collar or hood, sleeves, hem and pocket arrangement. A folded item can hide an area you care about. Ask for a useful view rather than treating a partly visible garment as fully checked.

Look at visible seams, cuffs, labels and closures next. A loose thread, an open seam and a shadow can resemble one another in a thumbnail. Describe the location of an apparent problem and save a wider view that shows where it is. A still photo cannot establish how a zip feels or how the fabric stretches.

Treat colour with context. Lighting, exposure and the surface beneath the garment can change its appearance. Compare the named option and label first, then request clarification if a particular shade is essential. A screen image cannot establish exact colour, fabric feel or warmth.

Shoe & Accessory Checks: Pairs & Included Components

For shoes, check that the photo shows the pair and the selected model, then compare visible size labels and overall condition. A side view cannot reveal every part of the outsole. Exterior sole length is also a different measurement from internal fit.

For a bag or accessory, compare the seller’s list of included straps, pouches or attachments with what is shown. Look at visible handles, corners, fasteners and attachment points. If operation matters, ask a specific question: an image of a clasp is not proof that it operates smoothly.

Keep original packaging and security attachments intact while deciding on a return. The official return rules have condition requirements, including shoe security attachments where present. Decide on parcel-size reductions after identity, condition and essential fit concerns are resolved.

Warehouse Inspection Scope & Limitations

The published rules say sealed packages and certain sealed non-clothing, non-bag and non-shoe items are checked externally without opening them. Interior contents may therefore be outside the check.

Electronics and digital accessories are outside the published authenticity, functionality and quality inspection scope. A photo of headphones or a speaker should not be read as evidence that the warehouse powered it on or tested it. Photos also cannot tell you how fabric feels, whether a garment will fit or how a product will hold up over time.

Photo Evidence & Unanswered Questions

A label, a close-up and a sealed box answer different questions. Read each image for what it actually shows. The official inspection scope is particularly important for sealed goods and electronics, where the interior or technical performance can be outside the check.

Use the original photo size where available. Enlarging a blurred thumbnail does not recover details that were never captured. If an important area remains unclear, the next step is a focused request for information, not a confident conclusion from an indistinct image.

Additional Photos, Measurements & Issue Reports

Separate a wrong option, visible damage and uncertainty. For a wrong option, identify the selected variant and the conflicting photo. For damage, state the location. For an unclear image, request the specific view that would answer the question.

The official purchasing guide describes the order message function. Keep a request connected to the relevant order and ask what additional photography or measurement is available, including any charge. Standard inspection rules do not promise every custom check.

When a reply arrives, compare it with the question you asked. If the new image still hides the area, explain what remains unanswered. Keep the warehouse return deadline in view while waiting so that an unresolved question does not turn into a missed decision.

Returns & Exchanges Before International Shipping

Keep the item in the warehouse while you clarify a mismatch. Record the order number, the option you selected and the specific problem visible in the photo so support can understand the request.

Check the live return conditions promptly. The official five-day no-reason application window starts at warehouse stock-in and has eligibility exclusions. Keep tags and packaging intact; return postage or service charges may apply. Do not assume you can return an item on the same terms after international delivery.

Inspection Records & Shipping Approval

Mark the item approved, waiting for information or return requested. Keep the selected option, warehouse date, important photos and support answer together. A clear status is more useful than repeatedly looking through the same images without deciding what to do.

Before building the parcel, compare the selected items with your approved list. A correct size label can resolve an ordering mismatch without guaranteeing fit, and a clean front photo does not establish unseen condition. Make the decision using the information that matters to your own purchase.
